decision, decision.....Bt cotton or tomatoes?? headache!

i'd done Bt transgenic cotton's research...but now, i have to add transgenic tomatoes! i hate you tomatoes! i thought u r just a damn type of food...why should i study your metabolic pathway, how u ripen, what chemical changes you undergo during ripening, and how mechanical, chemical, biotic, and abiotic stresses causes changes in your chemical production??!!! argh!

gosh! i am talking to tomatoes! ummm....excuse me? hahhahah! whatever...dont worry, i am not crazy~~

just wait till i am done with these tomatoes! i am goin to study you (the tomatoes) inside out!

oh yea~ i got it rite!

aha! wondering what is the thing that i got it right? hahhah! well, two things....

first thing is that i got my assignment on the right track...hehehe! without too much of effort...i was wondering and got a bit confused about the resources....i thought of changing the path...then suddenly, i got my brain working..(okie, i am kinda lazy to find new resources, so i used my brain to think of a way to link the resources with the topic)....hhahaha! finally, my brain is functioning again.... i am doing endogenous biosynthesis in plant and its association with biotechnology....this is just one of the assignments...but who cares, as long as i have the resources, i can work out a way to finish it in time...all these years of practising to produce last minute work is beneficial when you are late for a month for the course!

second thing....i had chosen a loyal, kind-hearted, caring, loving, cute best best buddy! she is kazak! all these years, i am so glad that i had you as my pal...you just cant imagine how glad i am to have a fren like this! most of the people cant find a sincere fren...and i am so lucky i found one...she can grumble and lecture a lot...from what you eat to your daily routine....my mum doesnt complain as much as this kazak does! hahhahahha! she confide in me whenever she face a problem and she share her happiness with me whenever she found some....even if it's only a lil' amount of happiness! hahha! and i noticed that everytime i am in trouble or facing a problem, she'll suddenly call me without knowing why she made that call...we just clicked!!!

what else can i hoped for? i am born in the best family anyone could ever dream of, having a bunch of great friends, able to further my studies this far....what else? i am really grateful for all these....and i believe in being kind to others means being kind to yourself...i'll treat everyone like how i wanted them to treat me~ love you guys!!

assignmentsssss

gosh!!! suddenly, i can feel the pressure rising!! everythg is pilling up!! arghhhh~~ and i dont know why i am still blogging instead of doing somethg beneficial...such as doing assignments, preparing power point slides and preparing for exam...

okie...i have 4 presentation slides to prepare...and four of them are of completely different topics...from one of the slides, i have to prepare for an exam and write 4 A4 papers in ONE hour! help me!! and i have to prepare another assessment on the research proposal grant (another one side of A4)...i have to learn to use a software to draw protein structure..(at least 6 diagrams of synthesis steps)...i hv to do research on plantibodies, and a-i-dunno-bout-biotech-technique for debate...argghhh...now i hv to learn about BLAST program as well as a biocarta map!!
here comes the BEST part...DEADLINE TO MEET.....4TH OF NOVEMBER~ yay! hooray~~

what can i do? another 2 weeks before i die....so...since i am dying anyway, i might as well be doing somethg i like~~ ermm....eating n sleeping...i guess i'll just sleep it off.. muahahhahha! kidding...i wont let myself die that easily....hey, i SURVIVED TARC and Dr. Banu, i can cope with anythg~ hahhahhaha!

these few days, i had been thinking a lot....i cant go on like this...i have to be tough...it's my responsibility to take care of everythg including pretending to be okie when i am not okie....no matter what happen in the future, as long as i live, my love, my devotion for my family will never change..and nothing can ever make me change my mind.....and i'll prove to everyone that time doesnt change anythg....it's your own thinking that changes everythg...i am glad that i am a part of this happy family and i am blessed to have such a family...i love you guys a lot!

mummie, you learned msn, skype, sms, mms in chinese, malay, and english just to make sure that i wont be bored....you make sure that i packed everythg before leaving and you stayed in kl (eventhough u hated it, it's boring....i know, i know..) just for the sake of spending some time with me before i come to UK....for that, i love you, mum...

daddy, you r one great dad!!! you increased my phone credit limit till it's up the sky, just so that i can stay connected with you all...i thank you a lot...you, bought me everythg i needed, you waited all nite just to make sure that i'd made the right transit to manchester...it was 3am, and u knew dat i had just reached abu dhabi...i love you, daddy!

and my cute lil' sis....you personalise a gift for me! i love you...it's really a big surprise for me....i never thought of receiving it....u may not show the world ur love, but i can feel it...i love you!!!!

struggling

i suddenly realised that everything changes.....nothing seemed to be the same anymore...i used to be very happy, easy-going person....now, i am caught in between....i dun know what i should do and which is the correct path for me to choose...or am i even have the right to choose....it may seemed to be a small matter to the others, but not for me....

i can only hope that miracles happen and everything is just as it used to be...

argghh! i blogged for 3 hours and this damn blogspot cant publish my stuff and i did not save it...


so...i am going to cut it really short...16th august is my bday and my coursemates came with two handbaked cakes to surprise me around 1am...they were late due to cake decorating session...one of the cakes is marble cheesecake...and the other is...ummm...is....strawberry-peach-kiwi-fresh-cream-covered-egg-tart-based-spongecake....i guess dat's da correct naming of da cake...hahahahhaha! anyway...it was really nicely decorated with my name written on it...there is some choco powder sprinkled on top....da taste? umm....very special! all my coursemates tried it...hhahah! then....we all went to sleep...coz i was so tired...we had just came back from North Wales and it was really tiring...dey still went out to buy all da ingredients for da cakes...thanks to them...i had a wonderful, memorable bday...we even bake 3 more cakes together in da afternoon on my bday...it was fun!!!

on 3oth august, our sort of graduation dinner...hosted by LJMU at Adelphi Hotel, Liverpool...can't believe that Dr.Dowell can dance so well! hahhahha!

on 31 august, von, FM, KW and i started our europe trip....we boarded a plane from liverpool to Rome, italy....Ryan air....rome is a very nice place...especially da fountains, sculptures, historical buildings....one more thg....da food!!!!! gelatin (ice cream) is so so so so so so SUPER DUPER nice!!!!!! i fell in love with da ice cream....we went to Vatican City, Colosseum, Fontana di Trevi, Pantheon, Foro Romana, Piazza di Spagna...etc....hahha! nice place...but a bit dirty....hahaa!



then next destination...pompeii, Naples (3rd of sept)...somewhr in italy....i will never recommend this place to anyone....this place is dusty and hot!!! 35 degrees...and there r no shading....just went there to see the ruins...a 2000 year old city ruins.....it sound nice...but not in reality.....there was a huge volcano eruption causing lava to cover the entire city...some humans and domestic pets such as cats n dogs were preserved completely...so...we went there....it was so hot...and right after i enter da ruins, da wind blew all da dust in my face...and suddenly, my entire hair, shoulder, pants were covered in dust!!! i hate dat place....it was so hot!! we couldnt stand it after 2 hours..... and we went around asking da security 'where r da corpses? we just wan to look at the preserved corpse' . After getting da information we need, we just ran off towards da preserved corpses and took pictures....then we started to head back to rome.....it was torturing....we were hungry, hot, sweaty, tired, darken, dusty, messy, smelly...anythg....u name it...



Then, on 4th of sept, we headed to Venice...i love tis place a lot...i'll definitely go there again...but..remember to bring along mosquito repellent...hhahha! i love genovase...a type of sandwich..yum yum....we also went to Casino de Venice and became its member for three years! hooray! i'll be back!! i won 150 euros and runaway with it....hahha! okie, i am not that bad...i treat my backpackers frens for a nice-full-course dinner...yay! forgotten how much...i tink it was somewhere around 90 euros....yay! nice food!

Then, we went to Paris on 6th of sept and stayed till 10th sept...the first nite we arrived in paris, it was so so so so cold...immediately, we just check in at the nearest hotel...we came from Venice and we never thought that it'll be so cold in Paris...okie..so, that nite, four of us shared a four-beds room in Florida Hotel...which costs each of us more than 30 euros per nite...hahha! the next day, we went to the train station (Gare du Nord) and try to search for a hostel or budget motel nearby...Guess what?! we bumped into our frens!! they are leaving Paris and we'd just arrived...we even took a photo and managed to chat for a while...Yin ying missed me a lot...she should have followed our trip....hahhah! We met Hailie, Yin ying, Mui yun, Yeeling, Chen ying, Nelson and....another guy...dunno wat's his name...hahahah!i guess...umm...David? oh...nevermind...he wasnt our coursemates..hhhaa! okie, we managed to find a hostel and the grandma treated me so nicely...i just love her alot! hahhaha! we went to La tour eiffel, Arc de Triomphe, La defense, Cathedrale de notredame, Musee de Louvre, musee Rodin, Printemps, and Galleria Lafayette....i saw a really really pretty LV handbag and it's pure white...oh my god! i din have enough cash with me...If i had, i would buy it! arghhh! no matter wat, i'll get it!

okie, 10th of sept, we came back to liverpool and on 11th, we went to manchester's airport to board our plane...i continue my trip to Dubai without Von and KW...just me, Hailie and FM...dubai is just too hot!!!!! 50 degrees...dat's why i am so tanned right now...hahhah! anyway...i tried riding a camel, try their local delicacies...and i do not know what is that..hhahah! but it was delicious...hhahah! okie..i went sand duning by driving a miniature jeep on my own as well as hiring an expert to drive a four-wheel drive for sand duning...it was exciting!!! okie...then we went to museum and da hotel as well as ski dubai....a complex with a ski arena...great! i even took a picture with a polar bear (not real) hhahahha! and that's wen a guy ask for my email...he was good looking, wearing coat and everythg...BUT he is just not my type... okie..almost forgotten the most important part...DO NOT CHOOSE RAMADHAN PERIOD TO GO DUBAI...they are all fasting and u'll hv to follow and obey them by not eating and drinking unless u hide somewhere...but there r no restaurants open anywhere and you just cant find food...and the weather is just too hot....it'll be better to go during the winter as it'll be around 25 to 27 degrees...which is a lot better....

i arrived Malaysia on 15th and went back Miri on 16th sept in the morning...then, i came back KL also on the 16th sept at nite...and i am half dead by that time....i applied my visa and waited for it...

after all da hassle, i obtained my visa and flew to Manchester to continue my masters and transited at Abu Dhabi airport....i tink Dubai's airport is a lot nicer....haha! i bought a train ticket from Manchester airport and arrived in Liverpool Lime street...i be-friended a guy from Msia...help him with his accomodation and finding his way around...hhaha! only after we settled everythg, i know his name...hahhaha! kinda weird..but nevermind..i am just trying to help as he was alone and it was his first time here...i am glad that i managed to help him and he is very grateful...he kept saying his luck was really bad until he met me...dat's is the best thg i'd heard so far! hahaha! anyway, i am glad that i can help him because he reminded me of myself wen i first arrived in KL...all the best to this kid, and hope he'll become a lawyer...soon...

rite after my last exam...

rite after da exam, i went for lunch wif yvonne....da exam sux...ahhahah! anyway...i hope dat it'll turn out fine for everyone....i am supposed to meet Dr.Dowell after exam...but i haven even done any research on my dissertation yet...i dunno wat to talk about wen i meet him...he wanted to see my poster...and i haven even prepare anythg at all...da exams n assignments is da cause! (actually, laziness is da main factor)...hahhah!

rite after a workshop meeting after da exam, all of us went home (hostel)...and started rushing our report...final report...about forensic science...i napped for 1 hour before startin da report...due to finishing da last exam, u wouldnt hv da mood to sit in front of da computer and do stuff...all u wana do is relax, do unbeneficial stuffs...hahhahah!

around 10pm i started on my report...i tink most of us din sleep the whole nite...we were rushing for da report...i did da report till 7.30am of 15th august...and by 8am, we have to leave for North Wales....i am so tired! i manage to rush thru everythg and get onto da bus...hahhaha!

it took us 2 hours to reach North Wales...we even arrived the peak of Snowdon....it was EXTREMELY cold!!! FREEZING!!!! so cold!!! da wind is blowing like hell and we cant feel our fingers....it's all numbed....even Sok Peng and Hailie's ears hurts...pity....we took steam train to reach da top of Snowdon...then we went to castle...and i hate da spiral staircase...which is narrow and dark!

anyway, today is a real experience! muax! i even bought bday cards written in welsh for my fren and family....hahha!
